Tregoze Primary is a small primary school in West Swindon with around 210 children arranged in seven classes. There is a purposeful, calm atmosphere in the school, and children are expected to work hard, learn new skills and knowledge, and behave well. Our motto is to “Inspire, Motivate, and Challenge” by providing everyone with the opportunity to succeed. We are a values-based school, and these values are embedded in everything that we do.
The children are supported by a hard-working and experienced team of teachers, teaching assistants, and other members of support staff, some of whom have been at the school for many years. The whole staff share the responsibility of raising standards and keeping self-esteem high, but also of making life at school exciting, fun, and enjoyable — we all know that happy children make the best learners!
Although the website is comprehensive and contains lots of information, there is nothing better than seeing the school first-hand. If you are considering sending your child here, I urge you to make an appointment to visit during school hours to sample the positive, hard-working atmosphere and see for yourself why Tregoze Primary is a fantastic choice for your child. We always welcome the involvement of parents sharing in and contributing to the education of their children and to life at the school.
It is a real privilege to be principal of this great school, and I am proud of all the people who contribute in some way to providing a high-quality education and opportunities for our children. We hope that the children leave Tregoze Primary School having achieved their very best and look back with positive and happy memories of their time at the school.
Tregoze is part of a large federation of schools called The White Horse Federation, which comes with many advantages both for children and staff. Teachers are encouraged to work collaboratively with planning and moderation as well as participating in exciting new research and innovation groups. All of this has added a much greater dimension to the education of the children at Tregoze and across The White Horse Federation.
