What a productive and fun week we have had!
This week we have been thinking about what we would pack in our hand luggage if were to go on holiday. Some of us brought these in and shared them with the class. We then wrote our own ‘ In My Suitcase I’d…… ‘ poems. Some really thoughtful items. Next week we look forward to publishing these and popping them inside our 3D suitcases which were are in the process of decorating ready to then go on display.
In Maths we have been revising the 5 digit numbers, looking at the value of the digits, different ways to represent the numbers and writing the numbers in words as well as in the abstract form. Next week we will be increasing the digits to 6 digit and start to compare and order them.
Miss Sylvester was very impressed with our art work today. We drew a picture of ‘The Great Wave of Kanagawa’ also known as ‘The Great Wave’ or simply ‘The Wave’, which is a woodblock print by the Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai.
Our Pivoting and varied passes in netball came on a treat. We really enjoyed played 2 on 2 defending games. Next week we can’t wait to watch a game of High 5 netball and start to learn some of the High 5 rules.
