Today marks the first day of Children’s Mental Health Week, and Tregoze Primary School is taking the opportunity to raise awareness of mental health issues among children. We believe it’s important to do everything we can to remove the stigma that can surround mental health issues.
We've got a range of support available for pupils and we've put together a run down of all the services available on our new webpage here: https://tregoze-pri.swindon.sch.uk/information-for-parents/childrens-mental-health-support
This year’s theme is Growing Together and we are encouraging children (and adults!) to consider how they have grown, and how we can help eachother grow!
We’ve planned activities in school for the week, but if you’d like to help eachother grow this week at home, you can find plenty of resources for parents and carers here: https://www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk/parents-and-carers/
At Tregoze, we have provisions in place to support pupils experiencing mental health problems and always encourage them to seek help when they need it. We’ve also recently updated our guidance to staff.
